NOTES FROM THE TABLE

Results on this device

The table covers standard Spider, challenge modes and the additional variants. The table is a personal record rather than a public leaderboard. My Statistics on edwinso.com reads results saved by this browser. No player account is required to view local results.

When a game starts

A few details help explain this feature. A game counts as started when you make its first successful move or stock deal. Opening a page without taking a successful action does not count as starting a game. Replay or New game creates another attempt that counts after its first successful action. Resuming an already counted attempt does not add another start.

The completed-game counter

Here are the details for this mode. Standard Spider requires eight runs while the single-deck variants require four. A win is recorded when the game collects all runs required by its rules. A newly replayed attempt can record another win if you finish it. A counted win is not added again by undoing and redoing the final action in the same attempt.

Wins compared with starts

Here are the details for this mode. The win rate compares recorded wins with recorded starts for one row. The win rate describes local play history and does not measure whether every deal was solvable. A row with no recorded starts shows a dash for its win rate. Unfinished attempts remain part of the started total.

Best completed move count

A successful stock deal counts as one action in the move counter. Best moves is the lowest final move count among recorded wins in that row. The best-moves value is a practice record rather than a verified competitive score. Undo restores the earlier move count along with the earlier card arrangement.

Best completed time

A few details help explain this feature. Best time is the shortest elapsed time among wins that include a timed record. An older saved statistics record without a measured winning time displays a dash until a timed win is recorded. The timer runs during started, unfinished play while the page is visible. Undo does not rewind elapsed time.

Read each table row

A few details help explain this feature. Standard Spider has separate rows for one suit, two suits and four suits. Daily Challenge, Numbered Deals and Relaxed Spider each have three suit-specific rows. Winning Deals has one row for its verified one-suit collection. Spiderette, Simple Simon and Scorpion each have their own row.

Daily completion count

Keep these points in mind. The daily completion total counts distinct saved challenge-date and suit combinations. The completion list is stored locally and retains up to 2200 dated entries. Winning the same dated challenge twice does not add a second distinct completion. Daily wins in the results table can include repeated completed attempts.

Manage the local record

Clearing local game data also removes the statistics used by this page. New results are retained only when game saving is enabled and browser storage is available. The website cannot recover records after the browser has removed them. Privacy & Cookie Settings lets you turn saving off or clear application game data.

Where these results belong

Results stay in the current browser profile on this domain. Another browser, device or domain has its own local records. A completed verified deal counts as a win even when Solution step was used to finish it. A shared browser profile can expose saved results to other people using that profile.
